GREEN-WIN General Assembly

The GREEN-WIN project is one year old! To mark the occation, the GREEN-WIN team will meet from 11-13 October for it's General Assembly. The meeting, to take place at the Abbaye de Royaumont, a Middle Ages monastery in the woods north of Paris and will provide an occasion to present the results of this past year and discuss future developments.

More than 30 members of the GREEN-WIN project will participate to the General Assembly to present their first results. The first part of the meeting will be dedicated to provide an overview on the first year of the project. Then speakers from each work-packages (WP) will present their results during a plenary session, which will allow to discuss the prospects with the assembly.

First, the results on the dialogue process (WP1), on sustainable finance (WP2), macro-economical modelling (WP3) and the green business models (WP4) will be presented. Then, the work-packages WP5, WP6 and WP7 will show the work done in their case-studies on flood risk, urban transformation and energy poverty. Finally, WP8, which is focused on capacity building and knowledge transfer, will present its strategy, the tools and future work. A second part of the meeting will be taking place in break-out groups to discuss and design the future of GREEN-WIN. The final part of the meeting will host sessions on the administrative parts of the project and a workshop to build common communication tools.

This meeting, in the form of a retreat, will provide the time and space for the project members to strengthen their connexion and for new ideas to blossom. A special event will take place during the meeting that will foster the encounter of research and art, which have the potential to feed one another.
