WP4 - Business Models for Local Transformations

Work Package 4 (WP4) contributes to the behavioural transition towards a green economy by guiding and assisting WP5-7 in identifying local to regional adaptation and mitigation strategies as well as business models, investment opportunities and incentive structures that support these strategies. The three leaders of the WP5-7 will be involved in WP4.

The four work packages will thereby iteratively interact as follows:

1. WP4 develops an overview of the current global green investment landscape and specifies the protocol that WP5-7 ought to follow for identifying business models within their action fields and case studies.

2. WP5-7 carry out theirs respective tasks to identify win-win strategies, business models and enabling environments and report these back to WP4.

3. WP4 then scrutinizes the identified business models and enabling environments through workshops with experts in business and finance and feeds those results back to WP5-7.

4. WP4 also aggregates and produces regional and global estimates of the capital required for the business models and passes these on to WP2-3.

Steps 2 to 4 will be carried out and iterated twice during the duration of the project.
